Yoshua Bengio is a renowned figure in the deep learning field. His titles include Full Professor of the Department of Computer Science & Operations Research at the Université de Montréal, head of the Machine Learning Laboratory (MILA), Program Co-director of the CIFAR Neural Computation and Adaptive Perception Program, and Canada Research Chair in Statistical Learning Algorithms, among many others.

At the 2016 RE•WORK Deep Learning Summit in Boston, Yoshua held a keynote presentation on Deep Learning Frameworks. I interviewed him after his talk to learn more about his motivation to work on deep learning, the risks around using AI, advice for newcomers to the field and more.

You can view Yoshua's presentation at the summit here. See more video presentations on the RE•WORK video hub and our YouTube channel.
